Food and Drugs Section

  • Main duties of Food and drug Inspectors
    • Under the food act No.26 of 1980 and the NMRA act No. 05 of 2015 investigating complaints, taking samples, recording statements, prosecuting cases and conducting cases
    • Organizing and conducting educational programs under the food act no.26 of 1980 andthe NMRA act no.05 of 2015.
    • Conducting special raids and inspections under the food act and NMRA act
    • Inspection and advising pharmacies and drugs in whole sale outlets
    • Taking food samples and sending them to the government analyst.
